Doula Philippa | Pregnancy, Birth & Motherhood

Calm, informed and non-judgemental support through pregnancy, birth and beyond

Why choose a Doula?

Pregnancy, birth and early parenthood can be incredible—but they can also feel overwhelming at times.

Having the right support around you can make all the difference to how you experience it.

My role as your doula is to walk alongside you through it all, offering calm, consistent and non-judgemental support so you never feel like you’re doing it alone.

What I Offer

I support families through pregnancy, birth and the postnatal period, providing both emotional and practical care tailored completely to you.

As a Continuum Doula, I offer a higher level of continuity than traditional models, meaning we spend more time together before and after your baby arrives—allowing us to build a strong, trusting relationship and ensuring you feel fully supported throughout.

🤍

How I Support You

My support is always shaped around what you need, but may include:

  • Antenatal education and birth preparation
  • Continuous support during labour and birth
  • Infant feeding guidance
  • Emotional reassurance and a listening ear
  • Creating a calm and supportive birth environment
  • Practical help at home in the early days
  • Time and space for you to rest and recover

This is a space where you can ask questions, take your time, and feel confident in the choices you’re making for yourself and your family.

🤍

Why Work With Me

As your doula, my role is to create a grounding, supportive space where you feel heard, respected and cared for.

Together, we’ll prepare for your birth and your transition into parenthood in a way that feels right for you—so you can move through each stage feeling more confident, informed and at ease.

🤍

I cover most of South Yorkshire and North Nottinghamshire (I live right on the border!) including, Sheffield, Doncaster, Mansfield, Worksop, Dinnington and Retford.

If you’re looking for calm, consistent support throughout your journey into parenthood, I’d love to hear from you 🤍
